You're spoilt for choice when it comes to markets in Pattaya, which boasts an abundance of both day and night markets, and gives you great opportunities to pick up some bargains! A Pattaya night market is well worth a visit and are very popular with both locals and tourists.

Thepprasit Night market is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 5pm and 11pm; featuring over 500 stalls this is the largest night market in the area.  You can find a huge range of goods here, from clothing and accessories to souvenirs and pets, at great prices, but make sure to haggle with the stall owners for the best prices.  The majority of the stalls are open-air, but there is an undercover food area featuring around 80 food stalls where you can sample some delicious and authentic Thai street food.

Pattaya Night Bazaar is located in Pattaya 2nd Road.  Here you can find clothing, accessories, footwear and souvenirs.  There are also a number of tailor shops where you can purchase customized clothing for reasonable prices - be sure to haggle for the best prices!  This market is open daily between 8am and 11pm.

Jomtien Beach Night Market is located halfway along Jomtien Beach Road, opposite Jomtien Beach, and is a fairly small market; however the market has a relaxed and lively atmosphere with loud music, and an array of good value street food and international food stalls and pop-up bars selling cheap beer and alcohol; attracting tourists, expats and locals alike.

Here you can expect to find wares such as clothing, footwear, beachwear, accessories and souvenirs.

You can find an eclectic mix of goods here, including a unique assortment of souvenirs.  Many stalls sell low cost clothing, footwear and accessories, but you can also find jewelry, DVD's, electronics, mobile phones, sunglasses and home-ware.  As this market is more popular with locals than tourists then the prices are lower here, however clothes tend to be 'Thai' size.  You will be able to find goods here that you cannot at other markets in the area - such as desktop computers, widescreen televisions, games consoles and even satellite dishes.  This market is well worth a visit for a taste of Thai life and a great bargain.

This market is open from around 5pm until late.

Pattaya Floating Market is a popular tourist attraction offering over 100 outlets set on a lake, offering a variety of goods from unique ethnic products, such as sculptures, Thai silks and silverware, to food, clothes and souvenirs.

The shops are located on jetties and housed in traditional Thai-style buildings giving the area an authentic feel, and are connected via bridges. There are restaurants, food stalls and cafes offering a range of regional Thai dishes, as well as small floating kitchens.  See our section on Pattaya Floating Market here for further information on the activities also available here.

The Market Pattaya is open daily and located in 2nd Road Pattaya, with over 450 stalls selling the usual market wares, including clothing, electronics, furniture, handicrafts, art and local products.  There are international cuisines, fast food and local street food available, and some evenings music or dance performances can be seen.

Soi Buakhao Market, located in Soi Buakhao, close to the junction with South Pattaya Road, takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday, and is a busy and popular local market.  There is a great range of wares on offer here at great prices; including clothing, accessories, footwear, sunglasses, souvenirs and Thai silk.  You can also find stalls selling local fresh fruit and vegetables, spices, plants, spices, pets and Thai gold jewelry.  Street food vendors can be found around the edges of the market for when you get peckish.  As this market is popular with tourists be sure to use your haggling skills to get the best prices, otherwise you could end up over paying for your goods.

The market is open twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, from around 7am

Despite its name, this market is open from 9am every day, and comprises a number of stalls for bargain shopping. You can expect to find the usual market wares here including clothing, accessories, souvenirs and household items.  The market mainly caters for Thais, but you will be able to find western sized clothing here.

The market is located on 2nd Road and is open daily between 9am and 12am

As it's name suggests Naklua Sunday Market is located in Naklua and open every Sunday.  At this open-air market you can purchase items such as clothing, footwear, accessories, DVD's, electronics, pets, fresh food and fruits.
